The Bee Sting

So, Yesterday morning I was awakened by a horrific cry. Kelsey was outside with Bogie and it actually sounded like a body part had been taken off. Kelsey was getting out of the chair and placed her arm down on a bee. Apparently the bee was not happy and placed his little stinger in her arm. After I calmed her down enough to find out what happened - this is what I found ... pictures below. Her arm started to swell, so being the good nurse I circled and watched for swelling. 5 minutes later, the swelling had increased. Hydrocortisone cream and a benadryl later - all is finally well. I was a little nervous that she would react like Taylor did a few years ago when a wasp stung her in the arm. Needless to say, I now carry an epi pen for Taylor. Aww, the adventures with the girls!
